Hi I am Cathy.
I am a photographer based in SE London. I am from Wales but have been in London since 1995 but still have my welsh accent.
I have 2 boys 9 & 13 years old and time fly’s, another reason why I love photos. I have always loved taking photos my first SLR camera was given to me as a birthday present when I was 11.
I have won a handful of awards with some of my images that im proud of, they are scattered around my website see if you can spot them
I am mostly a mobile photographer so come to you or if its a outdoor shoot you want I use some lovely parks, woods or even a seasonal shoot like the Lavender fields.
and Also have done Newborn training with a qualified instructor.

Sessions are available Indoors at your home our outdoors on location shoots.
My photography is natural, relaxed & fun.

We have photos as a return ticket to a time otherwise gone.
Newborn guide
The best time to photograph your baby is anytime in the first two weeks, during this time newborns tend to be more sleepier and don’t tend to wake so easier between poses.
The session is not rushed and will typically take three hrs this is time for posing, getting baby to sleep, feeding and set up changes. so please be prepared for this length of time.
I love life style natural look but also do some poses and use a selection of props Baskets, hats, wraps. but please have any special items that you have that we might be able to also use.

My style is a blend of documentary and friendly approach. I believe in capturing candid moments that reflect the true essence of a couples’s relationship and what their wedding felt like. I love to capture the little details that make each wedding unique.
My approach is about shooting natural and candid, as if your friend is capturing the day. I love to tell your story through images that transport you back to the emotions of your special day.

I chose Cathy for photos of my two kids based on positive reviews on this site, and I was not disappointed. She fitted me in to a cancellation slot on a weekend quickly and was totally flexible about the time so we could get the best weather. My 4 year old daughter loved her and she had some great ideas for shots. Despite two not very compliant kids and my worry we wouldn’t get anything good she got some amazing pictures. she sent some to me within 48 hours to reassure me. Calm, professional, great with kids and a great photographer.
